Design and installation of kitchen using white melamine carcasses with Pearl Essence finishes and Rustenburg granite counter tops.
Quite obviously impractical use of space.
An as yet unused area.
This was the only available storage before the new installation.
This divide to the proposed dining area was perfect for the final design.
The space was easily divided into distinct areas for Storage, Preparation/processing, Pantry and Scullery/utilities. Consideration was also made for shared family time via the wall divide between the dining area and cooking area.
The mid section of the space lent itself perfectly to being a pantry area, with dry storage and fridge directly opposite one another and vegetable drawers in direct reach as well.
Utensils, Spice drawer and crockery are in easy reach of the cooking area which also has clear access from the dining area.
Utilities include the scullery, DB board, dishwasher and washing machine.
Storage area of new installation showing cutlery/crockery storage and preparation area lit with LED strip lights.
This shows the far extent view via the Pantry are. The most is made of natural lighting during daylight hours.
The vegetable drawers and fridge also make a great coffee/tea station.
Dry storage is within range of the fridge as well.
All appliance specs are taken into account when designing our kitchens. A handy tray drawer with "push to open" runners is installed just under the oven.
Spaces are used to maximum potential.
Noisy appliances are stowed in carefully allocated spaces.
