A house amidst the other residences ; the main challenge was to make the design different from a numerous number of houses all around the plot. Unlike other common seen parts of Kerala this particular plot is devoid of much greenery and vegetation. So the prime purpose was to ensure that the space was pleasing to see and still goes along with the surroundings.
The main feature is the landscaping under the skylight. This unites the living and the dining spaces. The space alignment was in a way that this courtyard can be seen from all angles and the family living on the first floor.
The dining area is accentuated by a splash of red.
