We are off to The Capital for today’s enticing piece of interior inspiration. And this gem comes from London-based firm Prestige Architects By Marco Braghiroli.
Tasked with the complete refurbishment of a 73m² apartment in a Grade II listed building in the city, the professionals in charge immediately set about doing what they do best. Given the Grade II listed status, all the original features of the property were kept, including the living room’s original floor (which, however, was repaired and stained to make it complement its fabulous new look).
In addition, the newly required fire door has been stylishly hidden within a cleverly designed partition.
The original property consisted of a living room, kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom. But with these experts’ commitment to interior excellence, an additional guest powder room was conjured up. The existing bathroom was also transformed into an en-suite for the master bedroom.

How often does one have ample space, stone tiles and mosaic finishes decorating one’s master bedroom?
To give the master suite a proper new look, it’s been redesigned with a full wardrobe with panelling and suede to create a feeling of continuity within the space.
Take note of that eye-catching chandelier, as something similar will pop up in these interiors very soon…
We certainly wouldn’t mind stepping into this dressing room every day.
Touches of cool blues complement the neutral colour scheme of the bedroom perfectly. And we also must mention the soft, welcoming look achieved by the layered fabrics of the throws, quilts, scatter cushions and, of course, that sublimely tufted headboard.
Fine fixtures are found all around in the en-suite bathing space, which has been increased in size and clad with stone tiles and mosaic.
To keep the boiler and washing machine out of sight, a bespoke unit in the same style as the vanity unit grabs attention instead.
Space, style and light: the three star players of this open-plan living room. But let’s not forget the marvellous city views flooding in through those floor-to-ceiling windows.
A stone fireplace ensures comfort and character on the one side, while the other side is taken up by a charming dining space, complete with industrial-style wooden table enjoying that magnificent view.
