It's that time of the week again! Yep, this morning we'll be rounding up Malaysia's five favourite homify articles from the past seven days.

This week marked a return back to kitchen lust—and these renovations were just what you wanted to see. Our kitchens take a lot of beating and get worn down quite quickly. Pretty soon, they end up looking tired and boring and it can be hard to know what to do to fix them. Luckily, our number one article will give you all the inspiration you need.

You also renewed your lust for tiny houses—so we gave you 20 of them! Log cabins, cottages and much more were all included in our bumper list.

But enough chatter, let's see the top five! Enjoy…

Step into style

Too often entrance halls and corridors are relegated to a secondary status in the interior of our homes. If we make a plan to decorate them in style, we normally only do so as an afterthought. But our entrance ways deserve better treatment than this from us. After all, it is the first area of the house that people step into—including all our guests. Do we really want to give them a bad impression? Thought now.

If you've neglected this space for long, it's time for you to spring to action. These amazing entrance ways will surely supply the motivation! Check them out and pick your favourite…

Colourful homes

So summer is almost over and we know that once autumn comes, we will enjoy it for what it is but we will also miss the brightness of the summer months—when not much had to be done besides opening our window shades to bring some cheer into our homes.

For the darker months, though, we'll have to get a bit more creative, a bit bolder. Yes. This means colour. homify put together this fabulous list of twenty-five eye-popping, colourful rooms to help inspire you in your colour-mongering, home redo time of need, and you chose it as one of your favourites. Now you get to revel in their majesty all over again. Enjoy!

The small but surprising apartment

This week we were graced with another stunning apartment from architects Sarah Bonanno Almeida and Marina Cardoso de Almeida of Tria Arquitectura. The finesse and attention to detail in each of their stunning designs is quite possibly faultless.

Having studied in London and Madrid, respectively, the two architects came together and formed Tria, accumulating their experience in various areas, including; urban, industrial, residential, commercial, retail, and interior.  The duo craft creative and contemporary spaces that emerge from a belief that every project is unique. This calls for a deep understanding of and engagement with both the context and client. The results combine innovative solutions with function and aesthetics. And this home is a testament to their philosophy! Take a look to see what the fuss is all about…

Small but cute homes

You'd need to have a heart of stone to not be captivated by this gorgeous little treat of a house. While mansion lifestyles are seen to be the absolute pinnacle of success, most of us dream of buying a tiny cottage or villa for our families—not a sprawling palace.

That's why you loved this list of the 20 cute small homes that we showed you earlier this week. From log cabins to modern masterpieces, this list has you covered.

That's all for this week! Remember to stay tuned to homify for more magical makeovers, inspiring tours and helpful home hacks. See you next Sunday!
